The Problem

Real estate closings are broken by design.

The average Canadian closing involves 6–8 professionals, dozens of documents, and zero central coordination. Everyone works in their own system. The client is left completely in the dark.

47
Average days to close — most of it waiting
No central hub
Buyers, sellers, realtors, lawyers, and brokers all work in separate systems. Email threads multiply. Documents get lost. Nobody knows the real status of the deal.
No accountability
When a deadline slips, nobody knows who's responsible until it's already a crisis. By then it's expensive and stressful to fix.
No visibility
Clients are left in the dark until closing day — then blindsided by issues that have been sitting unresolved for weeks. This is not acceptable.

What exactly is Cleera?+
Cleera is an AI-powered technology platform that coordinates the licensed professionals who close your real estate transaction — lawyers, mortgage brokers, and insurance brokers. Cleera is not a law firm, mortgage brokerage, or insurance provider. We connect you with vetted, independently licensed professionals and keep everyone aligned from contract to close through one platform.
Do I need to bring my own lawyer?+
No. Cleera matches you with a vetted real estate lawyer from our network — an independently licensed professional who handles your closing and holds their own professional obligations. Cleera coordinates the process and supports with AI tooling; the licensed professionals do the regulated work. Every professional in our network has passed a strict vetting process.
How is this different from hiring a lawyer directly?+
When you hire professionals directly, you're still responsible for coordinating your mortgage broker, insurance, and everyone else in the deal. Cleera's platform coordinates it all — one upload, one dashboard, one experience from contract to close. Full transparency without any of the chasing.
What does it cost?+
There are no upfront fees to use Cleera. Each lawyer in our network sets and publishes their own flat closing rate, and collects and holds all closing funds in their trust account. Cleera charges a separate, clearly disclosed platform coordination fee. Mortgage and insurance services are billed by the licensed professionals on their own terms. Every cost is shown before you begin.
How are your professionals vetted?+
Every lawyer and mortgage broker in the Cleera network goes through rigorous vetting — licence verification, experience review, reference checks, and platform onboarding. Only approved professionals receive files. Insurance coverage is arranged through a licensed insurance provider in our network.
When can I get access?+
